Didn't expect the starters to evolve again so soon. I notice that Gimmighoul and Maushold are in the shot. Maybe they'll be captures for Roy and Dot respectively since Liko will most likely be catching Terapagos. Seems very likely that we're getting the Pokemon League, and with the inclusion of Ceruledge and Charizard in the shot, it's possible that Amethio and Friede may also participate in the league.

Have we not learned not to put too much stock into these random images.
just used reverse image search, its just a random jigsaw puzzle that just uses the anime art like so much other merch does.

Ehh but some merch does hint at upcoming events and we know that Greeta is appearing soon, like every one of those Pokemon on that poster minus a few are too plot relevant to be random, that’s a lot not the only time that the final evos have been popping up in merch latently.
With the recent opening update and it showing Geeta at the Pokémon Leauge it’s not that hard to imagine that a leauge arc is coming soon.

Florian and Juliana being real interferes with Ash taking their place (offscreen) in the anime's version of the SV storyline. I'm sorry, but for that reason, they can't be real.
At best, they exist in an alternate reality that's not canon to the main anime

Not everything has to be about Ash. That's why I wouldn't want him to do an SV plot in the anime.

I think this is a new continuity anyways, so there is no such thing as Ash in the Horizons world.

Except for the fact that Ash doesn’t actually prevent the male protagonists from the games from showing up, it’s just that when they do it’s usually just cameos in a movie.
Although the special that focuses on Raikou featured the anime counterparts to Gold/Ethan and Crystal.
The only we haven’t really seen even a cameo from are the protagonist from Sun & Moon , as well as the protagonist from Sword & Shield and the female protagonist from Legends Arceus.
Ash being the one to do the SV storyline doesn’t prevent Florian and Juliana from existing, all it really means is that those characters just did something else. If we do see them they will probably just be cameos.

Looking back at the title of this arc, Rayquaza's Rising, I strongly doubt we'll go to Rakua by the end of this arc, if Rayquaza itself is the focus in this one (and consequently while in the last episode of the arc we'll see the fight against Gibeon, it's not gonna be in Rakua. Probably Rayquaza will join the heroes after that fight). I think we'll have to wait for the next one for that, even if by the end of the current one the RVTs will have all the heroes at their hands... I think.

Shinies and events are non-canon, so are postgame ‘optional’ captures like Snacksworth, DAs, ultra wormholes, Hoppa rings etc etc; they only exist to feed the Stu/Sue player character’s power fantasy.
There’s only one Rayquaza in the core series continuity, as far as we know.

I expect Floragato to evolve at the end of the current arc, but yeah, it is too soon, especially for the other two.
